Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom

Vacheron Constantin’s watchmaking for women demands the same intellectual rigour as any complication for men. For women, its challenge is to create something that is simultaneously precise, wearable, and an expression of artistry. The Égérie collection, launched in 2020 as an explicitly feminine canvas, is VC’s ongoing answer to that.

A miniature-painted strap takes centre stage on Vacheron Constantin’s Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom, in a limited edition of 100 for its most poetic feminine watch in years

The Égérie Moon Phase Spring Blossom is a limited edition of 100 numbered pieces, each housed in a 37mm case of 18K pink gold. The dial is light pink mother-of-pearl in the Maison’s signature “Pleats” pattern that nods to the pleats of Haute Couture, part of Égérie’s design vocab since inception. The moon phase complication, powered by manufacture Calibre 1088 L, is positioned between 1 and 3 o’clock, set within a circle of 36 brilliant-cut diamonds and framed by an 18K gold sub-dial. Gold moons rise and set behind mother-of-pearl clouds, and the crown is delicately set with a moonstone, but the main event in terms of artistic statement is not on the dial at all. It is on the strap. For the first time in Vacheron Constantin’s history, miniature painting finds expression on a strap. The pink calfskin strap is hand-painted with a delicate design of spring blossoms, and along with the natural variation of the mother-of-pearl dial, each one is therefore unique.

Sandrine Donguy, Vacheron Constantin’s Product and Innovation Director, notes: “Vacheron Constantin’s role as a guardian of traditional decorative handcrafts; the Maison’s belief [is] that the future of such crafts lies not only in using them but also ensuring their continuity and relevance by innovating, experimenting and evolving them in new directions.”

Vacheron Constantin’s asymmetric icon that rewrote the rules of wristwatch design in 1921 returns in a new palette

Vacheron Constantin’s asymmetric icon that rewrote the rules of wristwatch design in 1921 returns in a new palette

Historiques American 1921

The 2026 American 1921 doesn’t change the defining architecture of the maison’s icon originally designed for the ‘gentleman driver’ – a watch with its dial offset to 45 degrees so the time could be read easily without having to take your hand off the wheel. In the newest update, the palette gets an elegant update. Two new references – in 40mm and 36.5mm cases of 18K pink gold – feature a grained silver-tone dial with blue Arabic numerals and blue 18K gold hands. The silver and blue is restrained and elegant. Vacheron showcases its finishing with different techniques – a circular satin finish around the outside of the dial and snailing applied to the small seconds. A dark blue patinated calfskin strap with a gradient effect completes the picture.

The movement – Calibre 4400 AS, developed and manufactured entirely in-house – runs at 4Hz with a 65-hour power reserve and measures just 2.8mm thick. A sapphire caseback allows the wearer to admire the movement and Côtes de Genève finishing across the two large bridges and the free-sprung balance. Importantly, the movement is rotated within the case to align its functions with the asymmetric dial.

The Hallmark of Geneva certification is bestowed upon both references, guaranteeing exacting standards for finishing, reliability and precision. Christian Selmoni, Vacheron Constantin’s Style and Heritage Director, has described the Historiques collection as a “bridge between past and present”. The 2026 variations, blue and silver where the original was black and white, express that sentiment – great design, updated, remaining as relevant for collectors as ever.

Overseas Dual-Time Cardinal Points

The dual-time complication has always been a genuinely useful watchmaking expression for travel around the world, and the Overseas is Vacheron Constantin’s flagship travel timepiece: sporty, elegant, and designed for globe-trotting collectors who want a functional, elegant timepiece accompanying them on their journey through timezones. The Overseas Dual-Time Cardinal Points, presented at Watches and Wonders 2026, is a collection of four references featuring different coloured dials with Calibre 5110 DT / 3 powering each one. It refreshes it through the application of new colour ways and materials. The Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points is crafted from titanium, with Titalyt® finishing on the bezel, crown, and pusher ring, giving the watch a lighter, more technical presence. Titanium feels in tune with the idea of travel-sport-luxury – an intersection that the Overseas collection has come to call its own.

An extra bit of visual energy comes courtesy of the subtle orange accents on the dual-time and AM/PM hands. This pleasing little pop of colour against the cool titanium case and dial injects energy and serves as a reminder that this is a traveller’s watch, designed to be read real quick and worn as a functional timeteller, as well as an elegant touchpoint.

The applied 18K white gold hour-markers and the white gold hands reinforce the sense of quality, while blue Super-LumiNova® on the hour-markers and hour and minute hands means you can still tell the time while stumbling around for the lights in a foreign hotel suite.

Inside beats the Calibre 5110 DT/3, powering the functions. The movement measures 30.6 mm in diameter, is 6 mm thick, comprises 234 components, has 37 jewels, runs at 4 Hz, and delivers a 60-hour power reserve. Solid specs for a watch designed for elegant jetsetters. At 41 mm in diameter and water-resistant to 15 bar, it’s also an undeniably robust everyday companion. In this latest chapter, the Overseas also brings versatility to the table – a titanium bracelet features a self-interchangeable system and Easy-Fit adjustment, and each model comes with additional rubber straps in coordinating tones, plus a bright orange rubber strap that really embraces the collection’s sporty edge.

Vacheron Constantin brings its finest thin-movement expertise to the Overseas

Vacheron Constantin brings its finest thin-movement expertise to the Overseas

Calibre 2550 Overseas Automatique Ultra-Thin

Thinness in watchmaking is a difficult discipline. Every component must be considered and reconsidered and tolerances be tightened and finessed beyond conceivable norms. For those like VC who excel at it, that difficulty becomes an opportunity to showcase its expertise. The Calibre 2550 Ultra-Thin Overseas Automatique does exactly that and in doing so presents the most technically refined manufacture movement with a home in the Overseas for the very first time.

Vacheron Constantin’s history with thin movements stretches back well over a century, through some of the most technically celebrated wristwatch calibres of the 20th century. The Calibre 2550 draws on that heritage. It also achieves the distinction – by way of seven years of R&D – of being the thinnest movement ever in an Overseas, at 2.4mm, and at 7.35mm total, the thinnest Overseas ever made. The legendary Calibre 1120 that this movement succeeds measured 2.45mm when it launched in 1968. Fifty-seven years later, the new calibre is fractionally slimmer. It also delivers a whopping 80 hours of power reserve.

Vacheron Constantin refines the Overseas with a focus on slim proportions and mechanical elegance, powered by the ultra-thin in-house calibre 1120 QP/1 visible through the sapphire caseback

The architecture is impressive. A platinum micro-rotor is integrated directly into the mainplate, eliminating the thickness penalty of a conventional rotor. A suspended double barrel delivers the power reserve without stacking height. A five-wheel gear train, partially mounted on ball bearings, completes the picture on a single level. The result is a calibre that measures 30.6mm across and 2.4mm high, resplendent with circular graining, Côtes de Genève, snailed barrel drum, sunburst wheels finishing.

In another first for the Overseas collection the case, bracelet and clasp are forged entirely in 950 platinum that is proprietary to the maison and incorporates copper and gallium, thermally hardened to offer 2.7 times the scratch resistance of standard platinum. The dial is salmon-lacquered with a sunburst satin finish, a colour pairing the Maison first used in the 1940s. The case diameter is 39.5mm, reduced from the standard Overseas proposition.
