Feeling patriotic today?

This new limited edition from Ulysse Nardin, which launches today, July 4, 2018, might just be the timepiece for you. This Executive Tourbillon “Stars and Stripes” is a tribute to Ulysse Nardin’s long history with the U.S. Navy. Chosen as a nautical supplier to the Navy in 1902, Ulysse Nardin supplied precision timepieces and instruments, winning the Washington Naval Observatory’s competition several times to equip its torpedo boats.

The timepiece is inspired by the American flag, integrating 13 red and white stripes and 50 white stars on a deep blue background. The stars and stripes are painted by hand, effectively making each piece unique.

The movement powering this stunning limited edition is the UN-171 tourbillon open-worked movement with a 170-hour power reserve. The 45mm case is titanium with a blue ceramic bezel and a blue crown and is water resistant to 30 meters. The watch comes on a blue carbon effect leather strap with a folding buckle.
“Ulysse Nardin has a longstanding history with the U.S. Navy, providing Marine Chronometers from the end of the 19th century until the mid-1940s,” François-Xavier Hotier, president, Ulysse Nardin Americas. “The Stars & Stripes limited edition celebrates this American legacy in a unique way. What makes this timepiece special is that it’s not only a mix of craftsmanship and innovation – this is a watch that tells a story.”

If you want to show your horological acumen and your patriotism, there might be no better timepiece than the Ulysse Nardin Executive Tourbillon “Stars and Stripes.”

Happy 4th of July from Revolution USA!
