Patek Philippe – Seven Milan editions and Gondolo Ladies First

Patek Philippe Instantaneous Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Reference 5978P-010 Milano 2026 Limited Edition

Patek Philippe had a busy week, unveiling seven limited editions to mark the opening of its Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Milan, alongside the six-model Gondolo Ladies First collection. The centerpiece is the 120-piece platinum Ref. 5978P-010, powered by an all-new 500-part CH 29-535 PS QI caliber, which combines a hand-wound chronograph with an instantaneous perpetual calendar. The six supporting editions comprise an Aquanaut, a Calatrava, a perpetual calendar, a minute repeater and two cloisonné-enamel World Time minute repeaters depicting the city of Milan by day and night. Patek also introduced the Gondolo Ladies First, comprising six 31 x 34.8mm cushion-shaped quartz watches inspired by the 2009 Ladies First Chronograph. These include three diamond-flange models and three Joaillerie versions with amethyst, tsavorite or blue topaz hour markers.

Louis Vuitton revisited the OG Gae Aulenti-designed 1988 LV II with two 37mm Monterey models in black or green ceramic cases. The crown remains at 12 o’clock, while the railway-style scales preserve the original’s iconic character. Both watches use La Fabrique du Temps’ automatic LFT MA01.02 caliber.

NORQAIN Wild ONE Titanium in 42mm Skeleton, 39mm Skeleton, and 42mm Meteorite Special Edition

Norqain launched three new Wild ONEs, now with Grade 5 titanium top plates, in 39mm and 42mm skeleton models, plus a 42mm Meteorite Special Edition. The skeletons use the new COSC-certified Norqain 4K Manufacture Caliber and its 65-hour power reserve, while the meteorite-dial version uses the Kenissi-made NN20/1 with 70 hours. The smaller 39mm skeleton is limited to 400 pieces.

Casio turned the original G-Shock square into a 20-piece blue-sapphire tank for MR-G’s 30^th anniversary. The MRG-D5000 uses a multi-component shock-resistant structure that avoids screw holes in its blue sapphire case, through an ingenious interlocking architecture. It is complemented by 24K gold dial lettering on the watch face, Gallium Tough Solar, Multi Band 6 and 200 meters of water resistance. It is a G-Shock, after all.

Konstantin Chaykin Atomic Heart Twins

Konstantin Chaykin brought the robot ballerinas from Mundfish’s Atomic Heart game to the wrist in Left Twin and Right Twin versions. The radical design comes straight from the video game: rotating hour and minute discs use synthetic ruby pointers positioned on each characters’ chest, while the face forms a part of the oversized moonphase. Both versions use 40mm titanium cases and the automatic K.18-25 caliber, offering 68 hours of power reserve. Each version is limited 69 pieces.
