Not many manufactures can, and will, lay claim to being the oldest manufacture in existence with more than 260 years of unbroken patrimony, but Vacheron Constantin does with both pride and humility. However, Vacheron Constantin does not let its incredible milestones get in the way of modern-day improvements. The debut of the iconic reference 222 marked a departure from the brand’s established dress watch aesthetics, but it put Vacheron Constantin on the luxury sports map and became the blueprint for the Overseas collection, the brand’s bestseller. The company also knew exactly how to play the nostalgia card with the launch of the Historiques line, which brought us contemporary reinterpretations of iconic models from the maison’s past, such as the American 1921.
