Habring²
Richard Habring is an Austrian watchmaker who served as technical developer at Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC and A. Lange & Söhne. During his time with IWC, he developed the legendary Doppelchronograph (ref. 3711) based on a humble Valjoux 7750, which became the first rattrapante chronograph to use a cam-and-lever system for both the chronograph and split seconds functions.
In 2004, Habring founded his namesake brand together with his wife Maria Kristina, whom he met at A. Lange & Söhne. The brand has since been producing practical, affordable yet ingenious mechanical watches in small series.
