Chopard
Chopard is a family-owned and independently run maison that has been a staple in the universe of high jewelry and high watchmaking for several generations now.
In 1996, driven by the vision and ambitions of co- president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Chopard announced its L.U.C arm of watchmaking along with the launch of the groundbreaking caliber 1.96. The movement received both the Geneva Seal and the COSC certificate, and was really the first of its kind in a breed of movements that we’ve come to know as “in-house.”
Chopard maintains several families of watches outside of the L.U.C, including the Happy Diamonds, Happy Sport and the Alpine Eagle.
