For Basel this year, Breitling updates its SuperOcean line with the introduction of Superocean II, a bolder, better and more option varied range for diving watch fans out there. The main changes that have been implemented are a complete design refresh, partly based on feedback from customers of the previous Superocean line, with little tweaks to the fonts, as well as the proportions of the elements of the watch. Not only that, the new Superocean II adds new dial colours to the mix, adding a mesmerising blue, as well as a cool and pure white.
While the previous Superocean series came only in two sizes, 42mm and 44mm, Superocean II adds one more size, a smaller 36mm, targeted at the ladies as we shall see, with some extra touches.
This redesign will certainly have a wider appeal, with many of the design codes of the classical diver watch implemented along with Breitling’s unique touch.
The 44 mm Superocean II 44 is the big daddy of the bunch, the largest and most serious in the range with water resistance to 1000 metres and a helium escape valve. Available with either black or blue dials with strap options in Leather, Bracelet or Rubber.
The 42mm version, the Superocean II 42 comes in with a water resistance of 500 metres, while the 36 mm Superocean II 36 comes in at 200 metres of water resistance. Have a look at the various options available below:

The 36mm version, the Superocean II 36 is slightly different in the available dial colours compared to the two bigger sizes. Available is the Black dial on rubber and bracelet, but instead of blue, we have this rather unique white version which is easily the most visually interesting one of them all. The white dial version in 36mm comes only with the white rubber strap with no bracelet option. Additionally, there is one more unique variant to this watch, a diamond set version, obviously targeted at the ladies. Have a look below:
