Slender leaf-shaped hands now feature super-discreet slivers of Super-LumiNova®, enhancing practicality without disturbing the watch’s classical character, while the enlarged date window arguably integrates more naturally into the dial. Turn the watch over and an open-worked gold oscillating weight reveals the beautifully finished Calibre 1150 beneath the sapphire case back.

And it is a movement deserves particular attention. At just 3.25mm thick, the automatic Calibre 1150 has long been regarded as one of Blancpain’s great technical achievements. Despite its remarkably slim profile, it delivers an impressive 100-hour power reserve and incorporates a silicon hairspring for enhanced precision and resistance to magnetism.
