Nomos Club Campus Gets New “Nonstop Red” and “Endless Blue” Liveries
Timely for the summer graduation of the class of 2024.
In time for summer graduations worldwide, Nomos has revamped its popular Club Campus collection with a duo of vibrant new colors: Nonstop Red and Endless Blue. Both models are available in 36 mm and 38.5 mm case sizes.
More than just a watch
For many young graduates, the Club Campus is more than just a watch; it stands out as a truly compelling graduation gift, a lasting memento to be cherished for years to come. Its simple, clean, and understated design ensures it remains a valued companion as personal styles evolve.
But the allure extends beyond aesthetics. The Club Campus boasts an “in-house” movement, adding a touch of distinction. And unlike most watches that rely on automatic or quartz mechanisms, the Club Campus offers the charm of hand-winding.
Furthermore, with a price point of around USD 1,500, it presents a significantly more accessible option compared to similar offerings from established brands.
Vibrant hues
Traditionally, the Club Campus has maintained a rather understated demeanor, characterized by a classical 36 to 38.5 mm case and subdued hues like white and dark grey. However, in recent years, Nomos has embraced a more spirited approach, occasionally injecting bursts of vibrant colors into its lineup. Specifically for the Club Campus, this translates to introducing two new colors annually, expanding the array of “graduation watches” to cater to diverse tastes.
This year introduces two striking additions to the Club Campus collection. The first is the Nonstop Red, reminiscent of coral with a touch of softness, achieving a refreshing and youthful aura with its perfect saturation. While predominantly warm, a closer look reveals subtle contrasts: light blue Arabic numerals for minute markers, mirrored by the outline of the hour markers. This interplay of bright blue and red evokes playfulness and cheer, making it perfect for young graduates who still possess a bright spirit before entering society. The vibrant colors symbolize the hope that this enthusiasm will continue to fuel their journey, non-stop.
For those inclined towards cooler hues, the second addition this year is the Endless Blue, a light blue with hints of turquoise, carefully calibrated in saturation to complement the style of the younger generation. The Endless Blue also features striking contrasts, with an orange small seconds hand and subtle orange outlines accentuating the hour markers, adding a dash of vibrancy to the overall aesthetic.
All the other good stuff
Both the Nonstop Red and Endless Blue come in the signature fully polished stainless steel case, available in either 36.5mm or 38mm diameters. The case features a charmingly domed bezel, adding a touch of elegance. For personalization, the case back offers the option of a transparent sapphire crystal or solid steel, perfect for engraving.
Inside the timepiece lies the hand-wound Alpha movement. Based on the Peseux 7001, this movement has been extensively reworked by Nomos, notably with the addition of a hacking seconds. Furthermore, it boasts typical German styling and colors, featuring the classic three-quarter plate and blued screws. The Alpha movement represents a highlight of the watch, offering great value at its price point.
