World First: Watch Spotting (And Video) From The AP Manufacture Roof
However, on this occasion it was all slightly different. I wasn’t at my local club, but the AP manufacture in Le Brassus. And I wasn’t in my lucky bay at the driving range (where I like to think I strike the ball like a confident Rory McIlroy ), I was on the AP manufacture roof. I’m assured by the AP team that this was a first.
Present for this glorious occasion, were Andy Sullivan, the rookie Brit stepping up to the Ryder Cup later this weekend, Bernd Wiesberger, the Austrian maestro, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, the cigar smoking Spaniard and AP CEO and ex-pro golfer, François-Henry Bennahmias.
The objective was simple: Ten balls each — hit one of three targets, all positioned at varying lengths down the range/carpark/cow field at the back of their facility — with egos on the line.
