The film stars TAG Heuer brand ambassador Ryan Gosling that’s set to hit theaters on May 3.
TAG Heuer has unveiled an exciting partnership with Universal Pictures’ latest adrenaline-fueled blockbuster, The Fall Guy directed by David Leitch. Set to hit theaters on May 3, 2024, the film stars TAG Heuer brand ambassador Ryan Gosling in the lead role of Colt Seavers, a rugged stuntman thrust back into action to track down a missing movie star amidst high-stakes drama.
As the official watch sponsor of the film, TAG Heuer continues its collaboration with Gosling, ensuring that his character is equipped with the perfect timepiece for the job — the iconic TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph. Playing second fiddle, the watch serves as a vital tool for Seavers as he navigates through perilous situations and heart-pounding stunts.
In The Fall Guy, Gosling’s character embarks on a thrilling adventure to solve a mystery, all while balancing the demands of his dangerous profession and personal relationships. The film promises high-octane action sequences, including a scene where Seavers surfs across the Sydney Harbour Bridge on a sheet of metal.
The partnership between TAG Heuer and Gosling extends beyond the silver screen, with the actor’s commitment to the brand showcased in various campaigns and projects. Notably, The Fall Guy marks the second collaboration between TAG Heuer and the film’s creative team, following the success of the action-comedy short film The Chase for Carrera, produced to commemorate 60 years of the iconic Carrera timepiece.

Gosling himself emphasized the importance of having a reliable timepiece like the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph for his character’s high-stakes adventures. “My character in The Fall Guy is a stuntman whose job is a matter of life and death — especially if the timing isn’t perfect,” said the actor in a statement.
Based on the beloved 1980s TV show, The Fall Guy features Winston Duke and Academy Award® nominee Stephanie Hsu. The film is written by Drew Pearce, and produced by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch under their banner 87North, alongside Ryan Gosling and Guymon Casady of Entertainment 360.
