Revolution Watch Podcast Ep. 16: Karl-Friedrich Scheufele

Our guest on this week’s episode is Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, who is the co-President of Chopard alongside his sister Caroline. Mr. Scheufele made a special visit to Hong Kong for the local launch of the Chopard Alpine Eagle watch. It was an extremely special project for the Scheufele family, one that spanned three generations, and Mr. Scheufele was more than happy to share with Revolution the process that led up to it, and fun details about the making of it. Things like, who came up with the name Alpine Eagle? You’ll have to tune in to find out.

Mr. Scheufele also spoke at length about growing up in Geneva, Chopard’s beginnings, his vision for its watch department, as well as his various passion projects — from building up the Ferdinand Berthoud brand, to racing with long-time friend Jacky Ickx and his winery. It was great fun chatting with Mr. Scheufele and we hope you enjoy listening to our chat with him.
