H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Tiger’s Eye

The Low-Down

World renowned for their beautiful dials, H. Moser & Cie presents two models with the striking Tiger’s eye natural stone. The Endeavor Tourbillon Concept Tiger’s Eye is available in two options. The first is a cool and sophisticated blue and white gold colorway. The dial is Falcon’s Eye natural stone and is paired with a blue alligator leather strap. The second is a warm and elegant brown and red gold colorway with an Ox’s eye natural stone dial and paired with a brown alligator leather strap.

The 18K gold case is a well-proportioned 40mm, and the dial is left intentionally clean of numerals and indices to showcase the natural stone dial. The mesmerizing flying tourbillon visible through a window at 6 o’clock steals the show, a glimpse of the horology under the serene surface. The Endeavor Tourbillon Concept Tiger’s Eye is a perfect dress watch meant to capture interest and spark conversation.

H. Moser CEO Edouard Meylan explains: “Tiger’s Eye is a natural reinterpretation of Moser fumé dials, which have been a key part of the brand’s success. Its horizontal lines lend it balance and symmetry. It is a dynamic stone which seems to come to life as it catches the light. The richness of its details are revealed gradually; it must be admired from different angles to fully appreciate its beauty. Just like a Moser timepiece. With the Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Tiger’s Eye model, we wanted to enhance the brilliance of the Tiger’s Eye using a highly contemporary approach. The 1970s has been a great source of inspiration for us in terms of design and aesthetic trends. Tiger’s Eye was very popular at this time, and it was showcased in a number of timepieces, with a look that was quite Baroque or Rococo in style. We have opted for a contrasting interpretation, minimalist and understated, with a Tiger’s Eye dial featuring no logo or indices, adorned with only the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock”.

H. Moser & Cie Pioneer Center Seconds Mega Cool

H. Moser & Cie Pioneer Center Seconds Mega Cool

The Low-Down

The Pioneer Center Seconds Mega Cool got its name when the prototype was unveiled at the H. Moser workshop. The moment the watch was revealed, it elicited a collective cry of the very Swiss German expression, “Mega Cool!” With their usual flair, the Pioneer Mega Cool brings all the focus to the rich turquoise of the Blue Lagoon fume dial. The indices are simple batons of anthracite gray faceted applique that are topped with Super-LumiNova markers for low-light conditions. The watch hands are a three-dimensional design made from two sections overlaid with the ceramic based Globolight strips. The only other decoration is an almost invisible lacquer H. Moser & Cie logo at 12 o’clock.

The watch is paired with a coordinating turquoise Kevlar strap or rubber strap for a casual finish, but can be quickly elevated to a captivating dress watch with the steel bracelet or alligator leather strap that are also available. An in-house HMC 200 drives the central three-hand time and features a hacking center seconds. With a design inspired by the turquoise waters of the islands, this stunner is a fun way to liven up a dress occasion.

The watch can be paired with a variety of straps - a turquoise Kevlar strap or rubber strap for a casual finish, a steel bracelet or an alligator leather strap for a dressy look.
