Introducing Richard Mille RM07-01 and RM037 Snow Settings
The Low-Down
When the lady in your life mentions the plaintive words ‘snow setting’ in relation to a watch she desires, you know you will have to dig deep. And if she should mention ‘Richard Mille’ in the same sentence, you know you are talking Mariana Trench levels of depth.
Richard Mille’s gem setters have been busy arranging these exquisite gems in a seemingly haphazard way to create on a watch case and dial the magic of a snow setting that perfectly captures the sparkle and glitter of freshly fallen snow in the early morning sun.
Richard Mille has developed a full snow set version all in white gold that sparkles with a pavé of diamonds on the bezel that is painstakingly continued across the entire dial. The gem-set case band pillars and sleek open-link bracelet complete the look.
IMHO
Many might associate Richard Mille with the likes of tennis superstar Rafael Nadal, who managed to lose a $500,000 Richard Mille watch some years ago, but in fact women’s watches represent up to a quarter of Richard Mille’s sales, with the RM07-01 being the most popular model, beloved for its size and sinuous shape.
