Limited to 999 pieces, Bell & Ross has added a new colorway to its highly sought-after BR 03 Diver Military series, and, for 2021, it comes in military olive khaki.

Although arguably more noted for their extensive collections of aviation watches, since its earliest days Bell & Ross has also built a strong history in underwater exploration.

First introduced in 2017, the BR03-92 is designed as a 42mm diver to meet the demands of military professionals. It features a clean cut uncluttered dial with high legibility of at least 25cm thanks to a classic mix of applied indices lumed with green Super-LumiNova C3 on white lumed baton hands.

The olive drab dial is legible both by day and by night thanks and always allows for immediate reading of the time. Forged from robust ceramic, the BR03-92 Diver Military is lightweight, high-performance and virtually scratchproof. Vitally for military personnel, the watch is non-reflective, thereby not causing flare in sunlight and accidentally revealing concealment in the field.

Water resistant to 300 meters, the watch is armored with a steel interior and ceramic exterior case to withstand the rigors of underwater exploration. Extreme water resistance is aided by an exceptionally thick case back. The crown is also protected by a rubber insert.

The watch comes with two straps. A woven black rubber strap and a strap with an ultra-resilient khaki synthetic fabric.

IMHO

You don’t have to be an underwater professional to enjoy this watch, but the professionals gravitate towards it because Bell & Ross has thought of everything from the tough, scratch-proof interior to the choice of straps, both of which have been designed for professional underwater use which can extend to go over rubber suits. Added to that there’s the bezel, expressly designed for professional use, which sets a time marker while diving. It allows immediate calculation of the time spent underwater. If the bezel is moved accidentally, it automatically shortens the dive time to avoid any risk.
