In Conversation with Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal, Co-owner and CEO of Château Angelus

In Saint-Émilion, part of the winemaking region of Bordeaux, France, stands Château Angelus, a vineyard that has remained in ownership of the Boüard de Laforest family for almost two and half centuries. The château is a mecca for wine lovers the world over and vintages from this Premier Grand Cru Classe A estate are renowned for their signature finesse and long finish, stemming from the Cabernet Franc black grape variety native to this region. The estate also shares a close relationship with the watch brand of the same name, Angelus, which we have collaborated with, to create a very special edition of the recently relaunched Chronodate.

Wei, a lover of fine wine himself, speaks with the eighth-generation member of the family who is also CEO of the business, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal, on what it means to steward such an historic winemaking institution and the guiding principles of labor, fidelity and family.
