Help Fight Coronavirus By Designing a Ressence Watch
The watch model in question is the brand’s latest, the Type 1 Slim. Ressence, since its establishment in 2010, has built its international reputation by revolutionising the way time is displayed on the watch. Through a patented 3D design named the Ressence Orbital Convex System (ROCS), the hours, minutes, seconds and days are displayed in individual sub-dials, or discs, that orbit around one another.
The unique watch will be auctioned by Sotheby’s at the Hong Kong “Important Watches” auction on July 11. Proceeds from this sale will support the Covid-19 Research Programme at KU Leuven University in Belgium, Mintiens’ home country.
