First Look: Trilobe at Geneva Watch Days 2025
At Geneva Watch Days 2025, Wei Koh sits down with Gautier Massonneau, founder of Trilobe, to discover the brand’s most ambitious creation yet: the Trente-Deux. Fully designed, prototyped, and assembled in-house in Paris, this marks Trilobe’s first proprietary movement — an achievement made even more remarkable by its certification through the French Besançon Observatory. The watch debuts in a sleek 39.5mm integrated bracelet case, with refined proportions and architecture that reveal just the oscillator and balance bridge in a uniquely poetic way. True to Trilobe’s DNA, time is read via rotating discs rather than hands, combining chronometric precision with a poetic display. With its square baseplate, layered construction, and meticulous finishing, the Trente-Deux brings a distinctly French voice to contemporary independent watchmaking.
