Czapek at Watches and Wonders 2026: Recasting the Antarctique in Titanium and Cosmic Blue
For Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, Czapek & Cie revisits three of their defining Antartique references through a common material and colour language, presenting the Dark Sector, Révélation and Tourbillon in titanium with dials in a proprietary Cosmic Blue. More than a simple change of case material, the trio presents a concise expression of what the Antartique has come to represent for the maison: graphic dial design, mechanical transparency and an increasingly ambitious in-house watchmaking.
The collective use of titanium lends the collection a lighter, sportier character while reinforcing the cool-toned visual clarity of Cosmic Blue, a shade originally developed for the first Antartique Tourbillon. Each model brings a different facet of Czapek’s modern identity into focus, from the emblematic SXH5, to the reworked architecture of the Révélation and the manufacture progression embodied by the Calibre 9.
Antarctique Dark Sector Cosmic Blue
The Dark Sector returns as the most graphic expression of the trio, pairing its unconventional sector-style display with the added depth of a Cosmic Blue velouté dial. Czapek’s treatment of the format remains strikingly individual, with two polished, slightly domed concentric circles interrupted at 12 points so that the hours are marked by absence rather than applied indexes or numerals. It is a design that shifts subtly as the luminescent hands move across the dial, giving the display a sense of motion beyond simple timekeeping. Visible through the sapphire caseback, Calibre SXH5 remains central to the watch’s significance as the first movement fully conceived and developed in-house by Czapek, distinguished by its seven skeletonised bridges and off-centre platinum micro-rotor. The watch is offered in 40.5mm and 38.5mm cases, limited to 25 and 10 pieces respectively.

Antarctique Révélation Titanium Cosmic Blue
Where the Dark Sector leans into graphic clarity, the Révélation is driven by Czapek’s fascination with exposing the beauty of mechanics. Built around Calibre SXH7, a thorough reinterpretation of SXH5, the movement was re-engineered to reveal on the dial side what is normally hidden from view, including a reversed escapement and the activation of the stop-seconds mechanism when setting the time. The architecture is fully skeletonised, creating a trompe l’oeil effect of multiple bridges while opening up the movement as much as possible without sacrificing legibility. That balance is reinforced here by the peripheral Cosmic Blue display, which creates a strong visual frame around the indications, while a smoked sapphire sub-dial carries the small seconds at 4:30. The Révélation Titanium Cosmic Blue is offered in both 40.5mm and 38.5mm formats, with annual production capped at 50 and 25 pieces respectively.

Antarctique Tourbillon Titanium Cosmic Blue
The Antarctique Tourbillon remains the most theatrical of the three, and in titanium with Cosmic Blue it takes on even greater visual intensity. Designed to place the key elements of Calibre 9 front and centre, the watch aligns the flying tourbillon, gear train and barrel along a vertical axis, appearing to float above the hand-guilloché Singularité dial pattern developed by Metalem. In this new execution, the deep blue surface heightens the impression of infinite depth beneath the movement, sharpening the contrast with the applied hour markers on the flange and the hand-finished bridges suspended above. The effect is especially strong in the interplay of light across the polished angles, satin-finished tourbillon cage and the engraved 18k gold rotor on the reverse. Limited to 25 pieces in a 40.5mm case, the watch also underscores a broader milestone for Czapek, with Calibre 9 representing a stage in the manufacture’s evolution where more of its machining and finishing is being brought in-house.
