Chopard L.U.C 2025: Full Details And Live Photography
It is no secret that the Chopard L.U.C collection represents the pinnacle of fine watchmaking for Chopard. The L.U.C manufacture in Fleurier devotes itself to the pursuit of watchmaking authenticity since its establishment in 1995. Today it produces some of the most original and innovative movements in the watch industry. Among the Chopard L.U.C 2025 novelties, one movements celebrates its 25th anniversary. The Quattro Calibre 98.01-L.
Featuring Chopard’s patented Quattro Technology, it has four mainspring barrels stacked in pairs. Calibre 98.01-L delivers a massive 216-hour power reserve totalling nine whole days. Inside these barrels are four mainsprings totalling 1.885 meters in length.
Over the years the L.U.C manufacture has evolved the Quattro Calibre. The latest version arrives in the new L.U.C Quattro Mark IV which presents the most contemporary vision of the L.U.C Quattro. Yet it bears strong links to the original. Calibre 98.09-L continues the legacy started in 2000. But it also differs in that it has moved the power reserve display to a movement bridge.
L.U.C Quattro Mark IV
The Chopard L.U.C Quattro’s latest iteration is the most elegant one in a long time. Cased in 39mm rose gold or platinum, it has a height of 10.4mm. This makes it extremely refined and comfortable on the wrist. It is also designed with the new and updated L.U.C bassiné case. Bassiné has a base that is narrower than the domed, polished bezel. One obvious feature that distinguishes the facelifted model from older ones is the curved, fluted crown.
Another sign of fine watchmaking authenticity in the L.U.C Quattro Mark IV is the welded lugs. Welded lugs allow the L.U.C manufacture to perfectly polish every part of the case middle before the lugs go on. These point us back to the watchmaking philosophy of the L.U.C manufacture, as defined by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele. And that is to always seek elegance and sophistication in the final creation.
The new L.U.C Quattro Mark IV has a brass dial with a frosted texture juxtaposing against finely polished hands. Galvanized to either deep blue for the rose gold model or sky blue for the platinum one, it includes an analog date display as well as a running seconds sub-dial. As with all new Chopard platinum watches, the L.U.C Quattro Mark IV in platinum has a secret bee motif engraved between the bottom lugs.
The watch’s aesthetic is equally impressive,.With a sunburst ice-blue dial complemented by blue metallized hour markers and faceted Dauphine hands in white gold. The polished 42mm case features distinctive openworked lugs, while a navy-blue alligator strap with a new patented triple-blade fold-over clasp completes the package.

L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25
Extending the scope of the L.U.C Quattro is a new metiers d’arts model, the L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25. New for Chopard L.U.C 2025, this watch with a verdant green dial features traditional straw marquetry applied in a supremely elegant and creative way. Which is fantastic because never before had the L.U.C Quattro featured straw marquetry.
Presenting variations on green, the entire dial is covered in hexagonal fragments as a nod to the official symbol of the L.U.C collection, bees. As such the beehive is a metaphor for the collective work of the manufacture. Industrious, honest and modest, the humble bee perfectly embodies the values of Chopard L.U.C.
To produce this dial, the straw marquetry artisan carefully selects rye straw grown in the French region of Burgundy and carefully dyed in a beautiful shade of green. Each strand is individually split with a fingernail, before being flattened with pliers. The straw is then cut into tiny hexagons using a scalpel, which are glued onto a base in ethical rose gold to form an interlocking pattern.
Comprising strands of straw in varying degrees of thickness, stripe orientation and hue, the final creation is full of volumes and completely mesmerizing. The entire dial is all but devoid of additional components. Only a jump hour window, a single minute hand and the L.U Chopard insignia cohabit amid the stunning green tapestry.

L.U.C Heritage EHG Moon 122
Under the directive of Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Chopard has been a steady supporter of the Geneva School of Watchmaking. Chopard L.U.C provides movement blanks to the institute as a way to give back to society while strengthening the foundation of modern watchmaking. As the Geneva School of Watchmaking celebrates its 200th year in 2025, Chopard L.U.C 2025 presents with the new L.U.C Heritage EHG Moon 122.
A model in ethical 18K white gold, it is a 20-piece limited edition equipped with the new manual-winding chronometer-certified L.U.C Calibre 63.04-L. It also bears the prestigious Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark.
An impressive resume of achievements. But what immediately catches the eye is the elegant aventurine dial. Such a striking rendering of the night sky’s natural beauty. It is also fitted with an astronomical moonphase display requiring a one-day correction only once every 122 years.
Then there’s the hand-hammered gold moon and view of the world map seen from the North Pole. Both add a touch of timeless artisanship, certainly a nod to the tenets of haute horlogerie.

L.U.C Full Strike Revelation
Chopard L.U.C’s ground-breaking chiming complication has no equal. The L.U.C Full Strike uses a patented minute repeater mechanism with monobloc sapphire gongs to deliver the clearest, crispest chimes. First introduced in 2016 and having been crafted in a plethora of case materials — ethical rose and white gold, hardened steel, platinum, sapphire and ceramicised titanium — it now turns its sights on good ol’ yellow gold.
New in Chopard L.U.C 2025 is the Full Strike Revelation. But unlike other minute repeaters, choice of case material matters little to the L.U.C Full Strike. This is because the sapphire crystal gongs and the sapphire crystal glass are one single component. As a result, the chimes transmit directly upwards and outwards, and not through the case. Chopard co-president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele personally listens to the chimes of all repeaters made by the L.U.C manufacture.
This latest model, L.U.C Full Strike Revelation exposes all of the movement’s 533 components. Calibre L.U.C 08.01-L with its five Chopard-patented technical systems cement the L.U.C manufacture’s prowess in the field of chiming complications.
