MB&F
It’s been 17 years since Max Büsser left the corporate fold and struck out on his own — with a little help from his friends, that is. The incredible story of MB&F — short for Maximilian Büsser & Friends — is now legend in horological circles. Büsser was formerly managing director of Harry Winston Rare Timepieces and the man spearheading the Opus projects. He left in 2005 to start his own brand and in 2007, MB&F launched its very first Horological Machine No. 1, which broke new ground with its three- dimensional architecture. The brand has had several milestones since, including its award for the Calendar Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2016 for the LM Perpetual. In short, MB&F looks all set to continue pushing the vanguard of independent watchmaking.
