Purnell
Inspired by performance, precision and mechanical prowess, Purnell is doubling down on its philosophy of bringing more future than past to watchmaking. In 2017, Purnell SA, in partnership with genius watchmaker Eric Coudray, produced the first Spherion. Unlike a tourbillon, a Spherion does not rotate on one axis with a linear path, but rotates on multiple axes with its balance wheel trajectory drawing a sphere. “The power of the Spherion movement is unrivalled in this industry, it is tantamount to a high speed Formula 1 car racing at 400km/h without needing a pit stop,” says Maurizio Mazzocchi, CEO of Purnell.
