All The 12 Exclusive Editions In Commemoration Of Sincere Fine Watches’ 70th Anniversary Milestone
As Sincere Fine Watches concludes its grand celebration of its 70th anniversary, it reflects on its legacy through the 12 exclusive creations of the Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition series. Each timepiece is a reflection of the brand’s enduring values of craftsmanship, artistry, and innovation. Since its founding in 1954, Sincere Fine Watches has established itself as a cornerstone of luxury horology in the Asia Pacific region, expanding to 20 boutiques across Asia. Over the decades, Sincere has played a pivotal role in introducing iconic watch brands to the region, such as A. Lange & Söhne and F.P. Journe in the 1990s. The new millennium marked a transformative era for the company with the introduction of Sincere Haute Horologerie in 2005, which was later rebranded to SHH in 2022 and expanded to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei, solidifying its dedication to independent watchmaking and the art of horology.
This year, the retailer teamed up with its watch partners to unveil 12 distinctive editions, each one thoughtfully crafted to enhance its allure as a tangible piece of horological history. These editions not only commemorate Sincere’s distinguished heritage but also underscore its role as a champion of horological excellence.
Moritz Grossmann HAMATIC Astral Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
Sincere’s first Platinum Jubilee timepiece was in collaboration with Moritz Grossmann, the HAMATIC Astral Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition. Limited to just 10 pieces, this exclusive creation captivates with a goldstone dial — a first for the Glashütte-based manufacture — resembling a starry night sky. Gold-tone appliqués and rose gold poiré hands enhance its celestial charm, while the laser-engraved 70th-anniversary logo on the caseback nods to Sincere’s milestone.
Powered by the innovative hammer-style pendulum system of the caliber 106.0 and boasting a 72-hour power reserve, the watch is encased in 41mm of 18K rose gold.
Chopard Happy Sport The First Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
Then came Chopard, who introduced the Happy Sport The First Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition. Limited to just 30 pieces, this exclusive timepiece debuts the Happy Sport’s first-ever burgundy red dial, underscoring the collection’s enduring charm since its launch in 1993.
Crafted from Chopard’s innovative Lucent Steel™ (a durable, hypoallergenic alloy made with 80% recycled materials) the 33mm case houses the maison’s hallmark dancing diamonds, which glide playfully across the vibrant dial. Adding a unique touch, the Roman hour markers are complemented by five cabochon-cut sapphires on the lugs and crown. Powered by the Chopard 09.01-C self-winding movement, the timepiece delivers a 42-hour power reserve.
H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Perpetual Calendar Concept MD Purple Enamel Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
We know — the name’s a mouthful, but this particular edition with H. Moser & Cie is truly a sight for sore eyes. Coming in for the third limited-edition collaboration, the Pioneer Perpetual Calendar Concept MD Purple Enamel Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition shows off a bold purple “Grand Feu” enamel fumé dial that’s a first for the Pioneer collection. With its rich gradient, the dial’s creation involves engraving a hammered pattern onto a gold base, layering translucent pigments, and firing the dial up to twelve times. The result is a strikingly deep and textured hue with a pared-down design that includes Super-LumiNova filled leaf-shaped hands, a power reserve indicator, and large date and month windows featuring H. Moser & Cie’s “Flash Calendar” for instantaneous date changes.
Housed in a robust 42.8mm 18K red gold case with black DLC-treated titanium inserts, the watch is powered by the HMC 808 hand-wound movement, boasting a seven-day power reserve and water resistance of up to 120 meters.
Laurent Ferrier Grand Sport Tourbillon Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
With Laurent Ferrier, an exclusive Grand Sport Tourbillon model debuted a petrol green guilloché dial, drawing inspiration from the South China Sea — a nod to Sincere’s strong retail presence across Southeast Asia. Across all 12 limited pieces, the watch features a distinctive teal-colored dial with a wave pattern that evokes the dynamic nature of the ocean floor, brought to life by an interplay of light and texture. The case, crafted from 5N red gold, maintains the collection’s signature automotive-inspired curves with a cushion-shaped bezel and barrel-shaped middle case.
This special edition represents a departure from the collection’s typically conservative color palette of salmon and brown, though it follows Laurent Ferrier’s occasional bold color choices, as seen in their Sport Auto 40 line.
Lang & Heyne Friedrich III Remontoir Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
We’ve come to the Dresden-based watchmaker, Lang & Heyne, who presents the Friedrich III Remontoir Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition. This special edition represents the third collaboration between the German manufacturer and the Singapore retailer, continuing a tradition that began with the Georg SHH Edition in 2022, followed by the burgundy-colored Georg SHH Edition II commemorating SHH’s Bangkok opening. This latest piece reflects Lang & Heyne’s dedication to blending Saxonian watchmaking traditions with contemporary innovation.
The timepiece showcases a distinctive ceramic dial with a sand-blasted royal blue solid silver decorative plate at its center. Roman numerals, script, and minute track are engraved into the ceramic surface and filled with black lacquer, while Cathedral hands add dramatic flair. The seconds subdial is subtly recessed, intersecting both the dial’s periphery and the frosted givrée-finished blue center, creating an engaging sense of depth.
Czapek & Cie Antarctique S Mirrored Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
When Czapek & Cie introduced the Antarctique S Mirrored Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition, the watch featured two groundbreaking innovations for the brand: first, a dial crafted from a single silicon wafer coated with platinum, creating an immaculate mirrored surface that reflects light with exceptional clarity. According to Sincere Watch Limited’s CEO Mr. Ong Ban, the mirrored dial symbolizes the passage of time, inviting reflection on Sincere’s history while envisioning boundless future possibilities.
The watch also debuts Czapek’s first-ever bimetallic design, combining steel and yellow gold in both case and bracelet. The timepiece houses Czapek’s in-house Calibre SXH5, featuring seven skeletonized bridges, a free-sprung balance, and a recycled platinum micro-rotor. The movement’s finishing includes beveling and laser engravings, visible through a caseback adorned with Sincere’s 70th anniversary logo.
Franck Muller Vanguard Damascus Steel Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
Franck Muller put on a distinctive showcase of the ancient art of Damascus steel in the Vanguard Damascus Steel Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition, spotlighting the material with origins that trace back to 300 BCE and the historic city of Damascus, Syria. Franck Muller’s approach was nothing short of remarkable technical innovation, which made use of the material created through a sophisticated process of layering two types of austenitic stainless steel.
The material, known for its characteristic wavy patterns and exceptional durability with a Mohs hardness of 5.5 to 6.3, is featured throughout the timepiece — in the case, skeletonized movement, crown, and buckle. Each component is crafted from single blocks using in-house CNC machines, with the Damascus steel’s distinctive striations revealed through a precisely timed acid bath process.
The watch houses the skeletonized caliber MVT FM 1740-VS2, offering a seven-day power reserve. Its construction showcases various finishing techniques, including mirror polishing, beveling, and circular satin brushing, all enhanced by rose gold accents.
Fabergé Compliquée Butterfly Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
The Fabergé Compliquée Butterfly Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition is a remarkable series of ten unique timepieces that combines Fabergé’s renowned artistry with an innovative mechanical display. The collection draws inspiration from Asia’s rich biodiversity, honoring Sincere’s presence across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan. Each dial showcases micro-painted orchids and hibiscus flowers. Seven pieces, bearing names like Blossom, Oasis, and Blooms, feature precious stones including colored sapphires and tsavorites. The remaining three — Sundusk, Buddings, and Springtime — maintain their vibrancy through handpainted florals without gem settings.
The technical heart of these timepieces lies in the collaboration with Agenhor Manufacture, resulting in the caliber 6901 manual-wound movement. This mechanism powers an enchanting time display where butterfly wings gracefully unfold to mark minutes, while hours are indicated via a mother-of-pearl ring that rotates counter-clockwise around the crown at three o’clock.
Zenith Defy Skyline Big Date Flyback Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
Zenith unveiled an innovative addition to their Defy Skyline collection in creating the Big Date Flyback Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition to commemorate Sincere Fine Watches’ 70th anniversary: a world-first combination within the collection that’s a big date display integrated with a flyback chronograph function.
Running on the El Primero 3652 automatic chronograph caliber, the watch operates at a high frequency of 5Hz with a substantial 60-hour power reserve. This high-performance movement drives the flyback function, enabling the chronograph to reset and restart instantly with a single push of a button. One of the watch’s standout functions, the big date display positioned at 6 o’clock, employs an innovative patented mechanism that achieves remarkably swift date wheel transitions in less than 0.03 seconds.
Chopard L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
Chopard being the only brand to present twice in the Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition series, returns with a special L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25. The watch’s most striking feature is its burgundy Grand Feu enamel dial, marking the first time this bold hue has appeared in the Quattro Spirit 25 collection. This rich color, which echoes the dial of the earlier Happy Sport The First Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition, emerges through a meticulous process where multiple enamel layers are fired at temperatures reaching 800°C. The result is a polished surface that enhances the depth and character of the timepiece’s minimalist design, all housed within a 40mm ethical 18K white gold case.
The watch runs on the L.U.C 98.06-L jumping-hour movement that was introduced in 2021 for Chopard Manufacture’s 25th anniversary. This manual-wind caliber features Chopard’s innovative Quattro technology, employing four series-coupled barrels to deliver an impressive eight-day power reserve. The movement features a Phillips terminal curve for enhanced accuracy, a swan’s neck regulator for fine-tuning, and bridges adorned with a Côtes de Genève motif, reflecting both precision and elegance.
CVDK Grand Planetarium Eccentric Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
This particular collaboration with Christiaan van der Klaauw (CVDK) commemorated two significant milestones — Sincere Fine Watches’ 70th anniversary and CVDK’s 50th year. Thus in the CVDK Grand Planetarium Eccentric Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition, special attention was paid to the dial, one of miniature painting by artist Gaël Colon, who drew inspiration from an early prototype that Christiaan van der Klaauw himself conceived. This artistic interpretation of the solar system brings to life all eight planets in their orbits, while mirroring reality as accurately as possible — each planet on this mechanical diorama has been constructed to rotate in a similar pattern to their actual respective orbits.
Powering this celestial display is a sophisticated new in-house movement, representing seven years of development. The mechanism incorporates advanced features including a variable-inertia balance wheel and a free-sprung hairspring, complemented by custom star-shaped bridges.
Ferdinand Berthoud Chronomètre FB 1RES.3 Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
And to wrap it all up, Ferdinand Berthoud presents an exceptional chronometer in the Chronomètre FB 1RES.3 Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition. Here, the watch’s distinctive 44mm octagonal case, crafted in platinum, houses a refined salmon-colored dial made from gilded 4N nickel-silver. The dial’s architectural harmony is defined by a broad opening from 3 o’clock to 6 o’clock, revealing three bridges extending from the mainplate and converging at the center. The power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock enhances this balanced composition, offering glimpses of the intricate mechanism beneath.
The Calibre FB-RES.FC combines two sophisticated mechanisms: a fusee-and-chain transmission and a one-second remontoire. This innovative pairing ensures exceptional timekeeping accuracy throughout the watch’s 50-hour power reserve. The constant-force mechanism enables the central seconds hand to advance in precise one-second intervals, demonstrating the movement’s technical sophistication.
Sincere’s vision for the next generation of watch collecting
As Sincere Fine Watches crosses the remarkable milestone of 70 years, its journey reads like a masterclass in horological expertise and market foresight. The company’s remarkable ability to spot and nurture independent watchmaking talent has shaped the Asian luxury watch landscape in profound ways. Think about their prescient introduction of A. Lange & Söhne and F.P. Journe in the 1990s — brands that would go on to become some of the most sought-after names in haute horlogerie.
The 12 special editions created for their Platinum Jubilee speak volumes about their deep relationships with watchmakers and their technical acumen. From their appreciation for innovative automatic winding mechanisms as exhibited in the Moritz Grossmann HAMATIC Astral, to their understanding of historical chronometry and contemporary watchmaking, as executed as such with Ferdinand Berthoud, Sincere’s evolution from a traditional retailer to establishing SHH — their dedicated space for independent watchmaking — signals their commitment to nurturing the future of horology. Looking ahead, Sincere is poised to remain at the forefront of fine watchmaking for generations to come.
