A somewhat cheeky send-up of the Apple Watch, but oh, so lovely. As the company reveals, rather than following the trend of making electronic watches that look like mechanical watches, it has instead found inspiration in today’s smartwatches to create something purely mechanical.

Inspired by a 19th century H. Moser pocket watch, the Heritage Special Edition is a hybrid of traditional craft, luxury and modern movement engineering. From the photos, it’s a very convincing study of the 19^th century pocket watch, now interpreted for the wrist, decorated with the full complement of enamel, diamonds and hand-painted numerals, with H. Moser’s modern perpetual calendar movement in solid gold. 46mm red gold case, manual-wind perpetual calendar movement with 7 days’ power reserve.

It’s been ten years since the company’s Endeavour Perpetual Calendar stunned the community with the leanness and efficiency of its perpetual calendar display.
