Goodwood
Goodwood, a fixture on the British calendar, in its 25th iteration this year, celebrates motor racing, drivers, cars and just about anything with an engine. Running from July 12 – 15, the festival is commemorating this milestone with a presentation of its founder’s — the Duke of Richmond (formerly Lord March) — 25 most memorable moments in racing, through an exhibition of cars and the drivers who created them
Montblanc Timing
Montblanc is the Official Timing Partner of Goodwood and will time all the races held during the Festival, including the 1.16-mile Hillclimb Shootout, which will determine the champion of the 2018 Festival of Speed and the winner of a Montblanc timepiece.
“There are only a few motor racing celebrations as thrilling and exciting as the Goodwood Festival of Speed,” says Montblanc CEO Nicolas Baretzki. “With the participation of magnificent cars that range from the vintage to the most avant-garde, this event is the perfect partnership for Montblanc, a Maison that celebrates its spirit of innovation and its long watchmaking heritage.”
In addition to timing the events, Montblanc has an on-site pavilion where guests can discover the complete timepiece collection, as well as the timepiece designated for the champion.
