Micromilspec Presents Its First Pilot Category Watch, The Dualtimer
Some brands “do” military-inspired. Micromilspec is military-issued. Before it ever set foot in a watch fair, this Oslo-based company was supplying mission-critical timepieces to real-world operators who measure success in flight hours.
The brand’s very first commission, signed in 2019 just days after the company was founded, was a run of 330 watches for the Royal Norwegian Air Force’s 330 Squadron. From there, the client list grew to include NATO forces and elite law enforcement units, each receiving custom-built instruments engineered to survive the kind of abuse that would send most civilian watches straight to the service centre.

Micromilspec’s first project was to create a custom watch for the Royal Norwegian Air Force’s Search and Rescue Squadron, better known as the 330 Squadron
Now, for its second year at Geneva Watch Days, Micromilspec is doubling down and launching not one, but two tool watches that neatly define its growing range.
The Dualtimer, Micromilspec’s First Pilot Category Watch
While the brand has long made aviation pieces for specific squadrons, from the Hercules for the Royal Norwegian Air Force to the Sentry for NATO’s AWACS programme, the Dualtimer is the first standalone pilot’s watch in its permanent collection.

The Dualtimer tracks two time zones day or night with bi-color Super-LumiNova: green for local time, blue for home time

Accompanying the 42mmm brushed stainless steel case of the Dualtimer is a matching bracelet in steel and three rubber options: black, white or orange
With a 42mmm brushed stainless steel case, the Dualtimer is built around a GMT function powered by the Sellita SW330-2 movement. It features a “functional self-glowing” setup with two distinct Super-LumiNova X1 colours to differentiate time zones at night: the bezel and GMT hand glow blue, while the dial, hour, and minute hands glow green.
The 24-hour bezel, screw-down crown, and 200m of water resistance underscore its readiness for operational use. Three strap options — steel, leather, or rubber — give it flexibility for cockpit or civilian wear.
The Milgraph White Dial Edition
The brand’s Field Tested category grows with a fresh take on Micromilspec’s breakout hit: the Milgraph White Dial Edition. Limited to just 75 pieces, mirroring this year’s returning black-dial model, the new version swaps stealth for clarity. The crisp, grainy matt dial is paired with subdials for hours, minutes, and seconds, while Super-LumiNova X1 ensures 24-hour legibility whether you’re in a cockpit, the wilderness, or simply caught out after dark.
Micromilspec first presented the Milgraph at Geneva Watch Days in 2024 — a titanium-cased, dual-time chronograph designed for life in the field. It sold out in quick time, earned multiple award nominations, and set the stage for a new annual collection format built around distinct functional categories.
The 42mm grade 5 titanium case retains the Milgraph’s battle-proven specs: micro-blasted finish, unidirectional bezel, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, 200m of water resistance and a destro layout with the crown on the left side for comfort. Inside is the La Joux-Perret Caliber L121, a 28,800vph automatic movement with a 60-hour power reserve, GMT capability, and a robust column-wheel chronograph.
With just two years of public sales under its belt, Micromilspec is already shaping a coherent, purpose-driven line-up rooted in actual military service. The Milgraph White Dial Edition reinforces the brand’s authority in the land-based Field Watch space, while the Dualtimer stakes a permanent claim in the air with its dedicated Pilot category. Together, they prove that in Micromilspec’s world, categories aren’t marketing fluff, they’re operational briefs.
