LVMH Watch Week 2026: Hublot showcases Samuel Ross, Novak Djokovic and more

Hublot, as expected, showed off an impressive array of sporty bang-based designs at Louis Vuitton Watch Week in Milan. We got the obligatory Lunar New Year limited edition in the form of the Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Horse, with a frosted carbon case and applique horse on the dial. We got new colours across the Classic Fusion collection, a trio of subtle sage green options, as well as new coal blue models. Naturally, it wouldn’t be a Hublot release event without a healthy dash of collaboration — the Yohji Yamamoto Classic Fusion announced a little earlier, as well as the Classic Fusion Chronograph EUFA Europa League Titanium Carbon, with a stunning bezel made from carbon fibre inset with orange micro glass fibres. All these watches are full of the codes that have come to define Hublot, but for us, the three stand-out pieces are the Big Bang Unico SR_A, the Big Bang Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition and  the Big Bang Original Unico, a tribute to the original Big Bang.

Hublot x Samuel Ross Big Bang Unico SR_A

Multidisciplinary British artist Samuel Ross and Hublot have been cooking up some of the brand’s most interesting designs for several years now, but the Big Bang Unico SR_A represents an important transition point, where the Samuel Ross design language is translated onto a Unico-powered model for the first time, rather than the tourbillons previously offered. Limited to 200 pieces, the Big Bang Unico SR_A features a 42mm black ceramic case, a brand-new honeycomb motif rubber strap, and (of course) a Unico chronograph calibre.

As with the previous Samuel Ross collaborative pieces, this take on the Big Bang offers an alternative vision of what it can be. The geometry is softer, more streamlined, but still recognisable. Hublot is incredibly good at evolving its icon, and the Big Bang Unico SR_A truly shows how versatile the design can be.

Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition

Novak Djokovic has been part of Hublot’s roster of top-tier sporting icons since 2021, and this year they’re celebrating the tennis great’s legacy and legendary career with an appropriately named trilogy of watches — the GOAT Edition. In case you’re in need of convincing about Djokovic’s bona fides, here’s the tl;dr: a record 24 career Grand Slams, Olympic gold, and a record 248 weeks as the world’s number one tennis player.

Hublot Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition

The Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition honours this in three different expressions — each offering a different balance of technique and material, and which offers a different perspective on Djokovic’s career — the blue, orange and green colourways are a nod to the three iconic surfaces on which tennis is played. It also informs the production of the watch. There will be 72 pieces in blue, symbolising Novak’s hard court wins; 21 in orange for his clay court wins; and only eight in green for his wins on grass. The fusion between Watch, tennis and Djokovic goes deeper than the colour — it also goes into materials. The 44m composite case is made from a special Hublot-developed composite made from Novak’s Lacoste polo shirts and Head tennis racquets. This Hublot-exclusive material required a total of 12 polo shirts and an equal number of racquets, making each watch a true tribute to the GOAT. Hublot’s ingenuity and commitment to innovation continue beyond the case, and into the calibre — the MHUB6035 Automatic Tourbillon calibre isn’t held in place with a regular mainplate, but instead a lattice of 0.55mm hand-woven strings that mimics the weave of a tennis racquet, emblazoned with Djokovic’s ND1 logo. An appropriately sporty and colour-matched Velcro strap completes the package, which clocks in at a mere 56 grams. It’s a collab so good that you could argue that while Djokovic has tennis covered, Hublot is the GOAT of partnership timepieces.

Hublot Big Bang Original Unico

While the Novak Djokovic and Samuel Ross releases embody Hublot in 2026, the Big Bang Original Unico is a telling example of where the brand has come from. Twenty years ago, Hublot’s original Big Bang perfectly captured the zeitgeist with its brash fusion of material and purpose, luxury and utility. Frequently described as horology’s enfant terrible, the Big Bang was a clarion call of symbolic disruption, and now, 20 years on, Hublot has done an exceptional job of reimagining this core release into something perfectly in line with the modern era.

The Big Bang Original Unico upgrades the Original Big Bang in meaningful ways — most notably with a movement upgrade — as the name suggests, this watch is packed with a Unico calibre, one of the most impressive commercially produced modern chronograph movements. On top of that, the size is 43mm, a nice middle ground between the older 44 and 41mm case dimensions. Size aside, case ergonomics have been subtly updated, with smoother lugs and a refined strap design — among other subtle improvements. And while this new take on a familiar face is likely to be rolled out in all the colours of the rainbow, for launch, they’ve focused on classic combinations and materials, like the All Black design that Hublot pioneered, as well as ceramic and the brand’s own King Gold alloy. Twenty years ago, the Big Bang electrified the watch industry, and today it’s just as exciting as ever.
