In Conversation with Georges Kern: The Success Story of Breitling

“Only success will prove that we are right.” – Georges Kern. Joining the Richemont Group in 2000, Mr. Kern was highly involved in major brands like A. Lange & Söhne, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and IWC Schaffhausen following their acquisition by the group. In 2002, Kern was chosen to be the CEO of IWC and became the youngest CEO within the group.

Subsequently, in 2017, he was promoted to Head of Watchmaking, marketing, and specialized in supervising Specialist Watchmaking Maisons within the group. Later that year, Kern was appointed the new CEO and became a shareholder of Breitling SA.
