Tokyo streetwear provocateur Fxxking Rabbits returns for another thematic collaboration with Franck Muller. Building on the buzz of their 2023 debut, the two brands reunite for the #FR2NCK MULLER Vanguard Beach Limited Edition, a bold new take on the watchmaker’s sporty Vanguard line.

This summer-inspired drop swaps the original monochrome palette for saturated hues drawn from Franck Muller’s 2023 Beach collection — Heatwave Red, Surf Blue, and Tropical Green — each limited to just 300 pieces. The dial features the unmistakable Fxxking Rabbits characters lounging beneath umbrellas, surfing, and relaxing amid lush foliage.

The case is no ordinary color job. Franck Muller uses a high-heat process where glass is melted at 1,500°C, pulled into fine threads, then cooled and turned into sheets. These are dipped in custom colour baths, then compressed into fibreglass composite blocks to form the watch case, giving each model their corresponding rich hue.

The tonneau-shaped case offers a lightweight yet durable wear, paired with a bold printed strap designed to evoke Japanese streetwear aesthetics. The case, measuring 41mm across and at 12.2mm thick, houses the self-winding MVT 2536-SCDT2H movement, which powers the main hours and date function, with a provision of up to 42 hours of power reserve. 

What’s up with the rabbits on the dial?

This wouldn’t be a proper #FR2 collab without their signature Fxxking Rabbits. On each dial, the rabbits are caught mid-action — surfing, lounging under umbrellas, or hidden in tropical foliage. A clever date window at 2 o’clock doubles as both a reference to the “FR2” name and a visual representation of the sun.

At night, the beach party doesn’t end: Super-LumiNova coats the rabbits and hands, giving them a warm glow when the lights go down.

To finish, the strap is printed with bold graphic elements, echoing the dial’s narrative and cementing the streetwear DNA of the collab.

Available exclusively across Asia Pacific starting 17 July 2025, each of the three references is capped at just 300 pieces. If last year’s collab is anything to go by, these won’t stay on shelves for long.
