Bruun Rasmussen’s Winter Watch Auctions
With the next auction due to be held today — Thursday, November 30th, 6pm local time — at Bruun Rasmussen’s Bregade 33 address in Copenhagen, several star lots from this and future sales were on show at the London preview.
Watches on preview made up for their complete auction season (now through to December), with gems such as: One of the first Rolex Submariners on its original rivet bracelet, a near-NOS ‘Monte Carlo’ Tudor Big Block, a very handsome Patek Philippe ref. 5296G-001, an original reference 3700 Patek Nautilus, a ref. 6062 Rolex ‘Stelline’ (the same reference as Marlon Brando’s “Rolex Chronometer” in 1960’s The Fugitive Kind), and a ‘Paul Newman’ Daytona (the ‘hot lot’ of watch auctions after Phillips sold Newman’s personal PN Daytona for $17.8 million in October).
