Everything to see, do and eat at the new AP House Singapore

It’s a destination unto itself.

After opening in AP House Milan last year, Audemars Piguet’s exclusive retail concept has made its way into Singapore. This year, AP House Singapore opens its doors to all clients, not just within our city state but across the region. As Southeast Asia’s flagship destination, it promises an experience unlike any other — and if you’re the sort who enjoys a little gastronomy along with your horology, you’re in for a treat.

Located at the landmark Raffles Hotel, AP House Singapore occupies the venue which was formerly the hotel’s famous Bar and Billiard Room. With its stately high ceilings and quaint old-world charm, it has been a gathering place for lively conversations, fine spirits, and timeless moments — including one that involved a tiger that escaped from a nearby circus.

Contemporary Interiors

Today the area has been converted into an ultra-modern living space expressing the complete universe of Audemars Piguet. Remember the manufacture’s motto, “Born in Le Brassus, raised around the world” because that is precisely what AP House Singapore embodies. All 1,000 square meters of it. Through a blend of communal and private spaces, the interiors offer a natural blend of Le Brassus and Singapore’s identity as the Garden City.

Says Audemars Piguet Southeast Asia CEO, Stefanie Ng, “This space beautifully reflects Audemars Piguet’s commitment to progress, innovation, and masterful craftsmanship, all while celebrating the diverse spirit of Singapore. Designed to feel like a refined home, this inviting venue provides a haven where watch enthusiasts, newcomers, travellers, and anyone seeking a distinctive experience can gather — whether to discuss timepieces or simply enjoy the moment.”

Muted greens and gold-gilded accents add a touch of elegance, while organic materials such as wood and stone create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The two cities mirror each other in perfect harmony. Towering Norfolk Pine trees frame the corners of AP House Singapore, echoing the Spruce trees native to Audemars Piguet’s hometown.

The stonework throughout AP House Singapore pays homage to the raw, elemental beauty of the Swiss Jura. A particularly arresting feature is the central bar, crafted from marble with solid end stones, each weighing approximately 800 kilograms. Locally sourced, large sections of Rain Tree are incorporated into several focal points within the space, including a striking feature wall, a stylised coffee table in the lounge area, and a long dining table that serves as a family gathering place.

As you walk through the wood panelled walkway, do look up and enjoy the tranquil — if a little trippy — visage of the Le Brassus scenery as it changes with the four seasons.

Watches On Exhibit

As guests enter the space, they are welcomed by three Watch Totems, each showcasing a curated selection of heritage pieces — from early pocket watches to more recent wristwatches — that highlight the manufacture’s rich horological history.

Watch Totems exhibit museum pieces on rotation

At the time of the grand opening, the vitrines exhibited a pair of museum pieces (one a grand complication pocket watch interestingly from the 1970s and another, a complete calendar wristwatch from the 1950s), an evolutionary showcase of the iconic Royal Oak, Royal Oak Offshore and Royal Oak Concept, as well as an evocative display of Audemars Piguet’s creative design language.

One timepiece that stood out was a piece unique jewelry timepiece commissioned by a Singapore customer in the 1990s featuring a Merlion engraving in solid gold on the dial.

Moving further into the main area, you’ll then come to a striking Watch Wall at the centre of the space featuring a selection of its current collection. This of course offers an immersive view of today’s timepieces at a glance, from the Royal Oak to grande complications to the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet.

The AP Universe

With so much space at its disposal, Audemars Piguet could do anything it wants — and it does. The Technical Table is specially designed to delve deeply into the timepieces, accompanied by a lovely Watch Strap Wall which seems to be de rigueur among luxury watch brands these days. Lounge seats encourage informal catch-ups and casual conversation — potentially over a glass of wine from the bar (we’re told it specializes in Swiss wines.)

Then there are the private salons, each one designed with a different theme. There is a Night Room decorated with a beautiful wall filled with stars, a Music Room complete with vinyl records of some of the best artistes of all time, and a Dining Room dressed in an elegant oriental theme.

AP Cafe

Now if all that exploring has left you feeling peckish, you’ve arrived at one of our favorite highlights of AP House Singapore and that is the AP Café. Indeed this is the world’s first AP Café of any AP House around the world, and it was such a pleasure — and honor — to be able to enjoy this experience.

Naturally Audemars Piguet would only want the best F&B partner for such a monumental project and the manufacture has fittingly chosen to work with the one-and-only Burnt Ends. Revolution understands that the Audemars Piguet Singapore team worked very closely with the F&B team, ensuring that the brand ethos and philosophy is perfectly transmitted — and that included sending the team to the AP manufacture to learn all about the manufacture.

Why is this so important? CEO of Audemars Piguet Ilaria Resta explains, “We aimed to elevate our hospitality and further evolve the AP House concept with the opening of our very first AP Café. Our goal is to create a welcoming hub for all — watch enthusiasts, connoisseurs, travellers, and locals alike — to come together, share their passions, and forge meaningful connections. With the city’s renowned food culture as the perfect backdrop, AP Café blends Swiss heritage with Singaporean flair, offering a unique culinary experience.”

Under the soaring majestic arched ceilings, AP Café blends Swiss heritage with Singapore style. It celebrates our island nations deep culinary roots with a menu that reimagines several Swiss dishes with a distinctly Singaporean flair. Every creation is a combination of creativity, precision and innovation just like the watches of Audemars Piguet. We especially loved the Golden Roesti topped with crème fraiche and caviar, and the White Pepper King Crab & Avocado adorably served in a caviar jar.

Menu highlights will reflect seasonal changes, and it includes special cocktails crafted exclusively to AP House Singapore. Don’t miss the Strawberry Milk Punch, the Alpine 75 and the Clarified Swiss Sling, a Helvetian spin on the Raffles Hotel classic Singapore Sling. Not into alcohol? Well the coffee here is really good too. But whatever you do, do not — we repeat — do not skip out on the desserts because they are absolutely to die for.

With this much in store at AP House Singapore, how could you not bookmark a visit right away? Pre-booking is highly encouraged.
