Playing Secret Santa: Adi Soon to Revolution’s USA Editor-in-Chief, Keith W. Strandberg
In all my dealings with Keith, I’ve always found him to be a stand-up, straightforward guy, truly a man’s man. When I learned, for example, that he has a black belt in karate and is able to speak Mandarin, my esteem for him was elevated even further. Clearly, with superspy-type skills like these, you don’t mess around when choosing a watch for him. With that in mind, one of my choices must necessarily be incredibly versatile and useful in a variety of situations.
My first choice for him, therefore, is the Breitling Chronomat 44 GMT. This is a watch that has essentially everything one needs: dual timezone, date, chronograph and the ability to go underwater to 500 meters. Of course, there are some situations when something dressier is necessary, but without the compromise of durability and reliability.
