Last fall, Norqain announced an addition to their Wild One collection that immediately shifted the conversation surrounding the young, adventurous brand. The Wild One Gold, which took Norqain’s 25 piece modular case design and for the first time incorporated a full 18k red gold top plate. Limited to just 99 pieces, the watch immediately put Norqain into a new category in terms of both pricing and prestige. Now, they are doubling down on that evolution.

The new Wild One of 1, as it’s called, built on that same modular case design, will offer clients the opportunity to create their own, customized Wild One watch, fully tailored to their specifications. Utilizing an interactive, step-by-step configuration menu rendered in 3D online, clients move through the full process of designing their dream Wild One. Pricing starts at $17,600 USD, but will vary depending on the various configurations and options each customer chooses. This experience is available on Norqain’s website, as well as with select retail partners beginning with none other than Bucherer.

The process begins with either an 18k red gold or 18k white gold top plate – a luxurious foundation for what can ultimately be a pretty wild (wink, wink) product. From there, one of two automatic movements are available – either the Kenissi Calibre NN20/1 or the skeletonized Sellita SW200-1S c. Both movements are COSC certified and offer distinctive dial combinations depending on which is chosen. But next is where things can get really interesting, with the selection of the rubber shock absorber which creates the midcase of the Wild One. Twelve different color options are available, allowing for the possibility of some extremely eye-catching combinations.

Luxury and exclusivity go hand-in-hand. Oftentimes, the most sought after or meaningful timepieces are the ones that are the most unique. Watch enthusiasts use timepieces as signifiers for moments in their lives. As we embark on adventures of our own, those watches take on even more meaning as their stories evolve alongside us. By offering a path by which customers can create something truly special and entirely unique to their own desires, Norqain has brought the concept of personalization in the luxury watch world to a new level. As if the program itself wasn’t impressive enough, Norqain has committed to a three-month delivery window for Wild One of 1 orders. It would be one thing if this program were reserved for only top clients or collectors, but by making this experience available to all its customers, Norqain is sending a clear message: there is no limit to their ambition or the heights to which the brand will continue to climb.
