This collaboration explores the artistic dialogue between China and the Middle East, expressed through a stunning sand-to-chocolate fumé grand feu enamel dial crafted by Kong Lingjun’s atelier in Beijing. Each dial is individually fired and subtly unique, echoing the warmth and texture of the ancient routes that once connected both cultures. The sculptural 904L stainless steel case is inspired by Hongshan jade carvings, featuring smooth, continuous lines and detached, externally bolted lugs. Inside, the customized Pequignet EPM03 movement is decorated with micro-etched lines from Tiān Wèn (“Questions to Heaven”), a classical poem reflecting on human existence. Eastern Arabic numerals paired with baguette-cut diamonds complete the cross-cultural narrative that Wei and Constant unpack in this discussion; a timepiece that feels intentional, contemporary and quietly profound.
