A Winter Wonderland of Watchmaking
Rado has unveiled three alpine wonderlands inspired by the brand’s 2025 festive collection. We are invited to “feel the moment” in the dreamscapes centered around the icy brilliance of the True Square Open Heart, the golden glow of the Captain Cook Chronograph and the sparkling elegance of the Diamond Centrix.
With the nights drawing in and snow starting to fall in the mountains, Rado launches a “comet of magic dust” through the Swiss brand’s mountainous homeland. As the comet crosses frozen peaks and glittering valleys, it awakens three fantastical landscapes, each embodying a special watch.
True Square Open Heart
The first is a crystalline world of snow and ice. Here, the True Square Open Heart emerges as if carved from frost. The case, crown and bracelet are crafted in pure white polished high-tech ceramic, catching the light with the brilliance of freshly fallen snow. On the dial, 12 diamonds glimmer like snowflakes, while a rhodium-colored finish has a diamond-powder effect to add an otherworldly sparkle.

The real magic lies beneath the surface. The open heart design reveals the beating Rado Caliber R734 automatic movement, its oscillating balance wheel bringing the watch to life. Rose-gold-colored hands give a subtle festive warmth, echoing the glow of a fire in a mountain chalet.
Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph
The comet then plunges deep into the mountain, where it illuminates a cavern lined with veins of molten gold. This is the setting for the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph: a watch that combines rugged performance with refined elegance.

Crafted from a fusion of matte and polished black high-tech ceramic, accented by rose-gold-colored details and finished with a rose-gold-colored unidirectional rotating bezel
Crafted from a fusion of matte and polished black high-tech ceramic, accented by rose-gold-colored details, the Captain Cook radiates a luminous warmth against its dark backdrop. It is a chronograph designed for explorers: water resistant to 300 meters, driven by the Rado Caliber R801 with a 59-hour power reserve, and finished with a rose-gold-colored unidirectional rotating bezel.
This duality is what makes the Captain Cook so fitting for the festive season. It is as ready for altitude and adventure as it is for a champagne toast. In Rado’s alpine fantasia, the watch becomes a constellation of golden sparks against the night sky.
Centrix Diamonds
Finally, the journey leads to a radiant portal of light, opening into a desert landscape that glows with warmth and brilliance. This is the world of the elegant Centrix Diamonds.
With its 35mm case framed by a diamond-set bezel and dial fashioned from brown mother-of-pearl, the Centrix feels like jewelry as much as horology. No fewer than 71 Top Wesselton full-cut diamonds enhance its radiance, while rose-gold-colored details and polished brown high-tech ceramic links add depth and refinement.
The graceful Centrix is a watch designed to be cherished, its glow echoing the joy of festive gatherings and the sparkle of shared moments.
Feel the Moment
With this imaginative winter tale, Rado brings together three very different watches in one shared universe of fantasy and festivity. Each has its own story, its own landscape and its own character. Together, they remind us that watchmaking is not only about precision and performance, but also about emotion — the ability of a finely crafted object to transport us to another world, to help us pause and reflect.
