To mark the 20th anniversary of its manufacture in 2016, Chopard launched the Full Strike in rose gold, its first ever minute repeater. The Full Strike spent more than six years in development and was so packed full of innovations that it eventually took home the top prize, the Aiguille d’Or at the 2017 GPHG. Its gongs and front-facing crystal were machined from a single block of sapphire crystal, endowing it with next-level tonal clarity and quality of its chimes. The chiming of the hours, quarters and minutes experience no lag between sequences as the wheel trains associated with each sequence mutually drive one another. To prevent mishandling and ensure uniform regularity and intensity from the first to the last chiming stroke, a total of seven security devices were developed for the Caliber 08.01-L, a COSC-certified movement with 60-hour power reserve and a mere 11.5mm thick. To say the Full Strike advanced repeater technology is an understatement.

2022 was another milestone for Chopard’s L.U.C collection, representing 25 years of technical precision, innovation and refined craftsmanship honoring founder Louis-Ulysse Chopard.
