Cartier Santos de Cartier WSSA0037

$ 9,088

  • In the lists of watches with iconic bracelets, Cartier’s Santos doesn’t get the love it deserves. When it was first introduced in 1978, Cartier’s take on a shaped luxury sports watch with an almost-industrial bracelet was an instant hit — especially the gold and steel version. This Cartier Santos, dating from 2020, offers a contemporary take on two-tone, with a black DLC coated bezel, adding a contemporary feel to this classic. The 39mm steel watch has a dark grey dial, with some subtle finishes. The central portion is vertically brushed to match the bezel, while the outer section is radial, in line with the Roman numerals for which Cartier is so famous. It’s worth noting that this watch lives up to its sports pedigree, with 100M of water resistance and the reliable automatic calibre 1847 MC, with 42 hours of power reserve and soft iron inner cage for antimagnetic protection. On top of that, this Santos comes with the excellent QuickSwitch system, which allows you to change bracelets in actual seconds, with no tools required. The fact that this watch also has more than a year of manufacturers warranty remaining is just the cherry on top.

    This watch from the Revolution Pre-Owned collection has been sourced from Watchfinder & Co, the pre-owned watch specialist.
