A Fratello Exclusive Frederique Constant Manufacture Moonphase
Also of course, traditional advertising is slowly fading away and the shop was a new way to keep their magazine growing in the best possible way. We agree, of course, and we have to say, the first Fratello exclusive watch is something quite special.
For their first collaboration, Fratello teamed up with Frederique Constant, who not only share their love for traditional watchmaking but also the same Dutch roots. The young company was established in 1988 by Dutch husband-and-wife duo Peter Skas and Aletta Stas-Bax, with a manufacture based in Plan-les-Ouates in Geneva, before it was acquired by Citizen Holdings in 2016. But the brand’s mission stays the same: offering exceptional, high quality timepieces that are also accessible to all watch enthusiasts, a mission that the guys over at Fratello wholeheartedly share.

The watch has a polished stainless steel case and a diameter of 42mm — not a small-sized watch for sure, but the proportions of the watch are so well balanced that it doesn’t appear bulky at all. The dial is in an elegant light grey with white Roman numerals. The moon phase indication sits at 3 o’clock while the date wheel is located at 9 o’clock. The watch is matched with a crocodile leather strap and comes with a Frederique Constant signed folding buckle.
