The Winners of the GPHG 2019

On Thursday, November 7th, the crème de la crème of watchmaking was awarded in the prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, GPHG 2019, with the “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix given to Audemars Piguet for the Royal Oak Self-winding Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin watch.

The GPHG prizes are given after long deliberation by an independent jury comprising of the most well-respected experts, collectors, watchmakers and journalists in the industry.

Brands including Bulgari, Chanel, Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud, Genus, Hermès, Kudoke, MH&F, Ming, Seiko, Tudor, Urwerk, Vacheron Constantin and Voutilainen were also awarded for the incredible watches they have created this year.

A Special Jury Prize was given to Luc Pettavino,for his contribution to the watchmaking world via the organisation of the Only Watch charity auction.
