Spoken in 1978, that quote easily embodies the legacy Muhammad Ali left in his wake. In honor of the greatest sportsman of the 20th<\/sup> century, TAG Heuer held a tribute evening for the late Muhammad Ali in New York City last Tuesday, in company of Ali\u2019s friends and family.<\/p>\n Set in the infamous Gleason\u2019s Gym in Brooklyn, where Ali trained, Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer and president of the LVMH Group’s watch division, spoke fondly of Ali: \u201cI met Muhammad Ali a few years ago, with his wife Lonnie, and saw in him incredible mental strength. His mind was much stronger than his body. And I said to myself, what strength! His mind made him a legend.\u201d<\/p>\n To commemorate the evening, TAG Heuer presented its \u201cTribute to Muhammad Ali\u201d Carrera Caliber 5 special edition steel timepieces, inspired by the TAG Heuer Ringmaster watch. This special edition, sporting an opaline black dial, has a rotary ring with a scale\u00a0\u2014 capable of counting out 15 rounds of boxing \u2014 and an engraved portrait of Ali on the back of the watch.<\/div><\/div>
