It is among the most ubiquitous of wristwatch complications and is sometimes paired with numbered scales to facilitate a specific function. For instance, a tachymeter allows one to read the speed over a unit distance traveled in the time interval recorded, while a telemeter derives distance between observer and phenomenon from the time interval between seeing and hearing an event. A host of functionalities can be designed around such pairings, from calculating the speed of a vehicle, to the productive rate of a process and ranging artillery.<br \/>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"lead-content\"><div class=\"vc-single-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/revolutionwatch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/02-br-multimeter.jpg\" alt=\"\"><p class=\"vc-single-image-caption\">BR 03-94 Multimeter<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"lead-content\"><div class=\"body-content\">In the BR 03-94 Multimeter, Bell &amp; Ross has populated the expansive dial of its cockpit-clock inspired classic square watch with a multi-colored array of functional scales to practically create a mechanical analog fitness tracker!<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"lead-content\"><div class=\"vc-single-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/revolutionwatch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/03-br-multimeter.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"lead-content\"><div class=\"body-content\">While most watches are content with a single tachymeter, pulsograph, etc., Bell &amp; Ross has assembled no less than five chronograph scales for the BR 03-94 Multimeter, all focused on addressing the needs of the athlete or fitness enthusiast: a pulsometer to track heart rate, an asthmometer to track the frequency of breaths, and three tachymeters deigned to measure speed in kph over distances of 100m, 250m and 1km respectively, as they are optimized for measuring speeds in running, cycling and driving.<\/p>\n<p>The date window has been moved to a new position between 12 and one o\u2019clock so as not to obscure the chronograph readings, and the left side of the dial provides handy instructions to interpret the scales, which are distinguished from each other through the use of attractive, bright colors. Here, the attractive outlook is further enriched by Swiss Army practicality \u2014 anchored around a chronograph, the wearer is able to track a host of health-related stats without deferring to a smartwatch.
