  • The Tudor story is one of a quiet younger sibling that grew into a rock star to rival all other pretenders to the throne of ‘coolest watch’. Conceived by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf in 1926, Tudor was originally launched as an accessible way to own a Rolex quality timepiece at a more affordable price point. The watches were effectively Rolex pieces in many ways, sharing the same cases, bezels, crowns and crystals as their coroneted cousins. But quickly the brand developed its own unique identity that was both daring yet reliable; flamboyant yet sophisticated and the stealthy choice of the knowing watch collector. Now firmly out of the shadow of Rolex, vintage Tudor is now a serous proposition for watch connoisseurs and collectors of timelessly cool wristwatches.

The 7021 was Tudor's First Submariner Date, introduced in 1969. This stunning example features the desirable blue dial and bezel insert and retains the roulette date wheel. The bezel insert has faded evenly, which adds real vintage charm to this piece.
