ORIS Aquis Date Caliber 400 with Rubber Strap
One of the most exciting developments from Oris in recent years is the brand's outstanding new Caliber 400 movement. Add this impressive piece of kit into Oris' iconic Aquis diver, and you've got a winning combination.
What makes the Caliber 400 so great? For starters, it boasts a robust five-day power reserve. Five days (120 hours) without having to wind your watch is pretty outstanding, not to mention convenient. Being able to take off your watch, leave it, and pick it up days later is not to be underestimated. Second, the caliber's anti-magnetic capabilities keep the watch accurate for longer. Speaking of longer, the warranty period of the watch is even more impressive than the power reserve — 10 years.
There's more to the appeal of this Aquis than the internals, though, the classic Aquis case is a standout contemporary diver. It is rated to 300M, and offered on either an integrated bracelet or rubber strap. The strong case design is amplified by the dials (and colour-matched ceramic bezels) on offer. The green is vivid and contemporary, while the blue is a beautiful option for a dive watch.

Good Looks, High Performance
This Aquis is the next evolution of Oris' classic, good-looking, high-performance dive family. It checks all the boxes — from the sleek dial (available in blue, and green, all with ample Superluminova on its indices and hands) to its 300M water resistance and uni-directional rotating bezel.
A Powerful Caliber
The Oris Caliber 400 was built with the express intention of being problem-free. An ingenious low-friction slide system has been used to ensure a constant and consistent flow of power to the mainspring. In addition to being more reliable, this system is efficient and contributes to the 120-hour power reserve of this powerhouse movement.
Magnetism is the invisible enemy of the mechanical watch, and the magnetics in our day-to-day lives can have a real impact on the accuracy of a fine Swiss timepiece. Oris has engineered its latest movement with more than 30 non-ferrous and anti-magnetic components, including a silicon escape wheel and a silicon anchor. Under a battery of tests, the Caliber 400 deviated by less than 10 seconds a day after exposure to 2,250 gauss, an impressive feat with real-world benefits.
Confidence Where It Counts
Oris is so confident in the quality and reliability of its latest movement that it's backed it with a 10-year warranty, one of the longest in the industry. In addition, the brand went further and proposed a 10-year recommended service interval on all Caliber 400, only adding to the wearers peace of mind.
Oris' engineers understand the reality of watch enthusiasts, recognising that there are days when watch wearers may not wear the same watch. Rather than settle for a situation where the wearer would have to re-set their watch after a few days off the wrist, Oris was determined to make the Caliber 400 as wearer-friendly as possible, giving it a five-day (or 120 hours) power reserve. They deliver this longer period thanks to twin barrels, both of which house an extended mainspring. In addition, Oris has redesigned the gears and reduced pressure on the gear train to minimise wear over time.
