Omega Seamaster 300m 126.96.36.199.01.001
Released to celebrate Bond's 25th silver-screen outing in No Time To Die, this Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition flips the script when it comes to the franchise's thematic releases. For one thing, this heavily military-inspired piece is limited production rather than limited edition, a fact which only increases its desirability. On top of that, this watch has a number of very special touches that make it stand out. First of all, the case is Grade 2 titanium, adding a lightweight, technical air. The choice of an aluminium bezel is one of the numerous heritage-inspired touches, along — obviously — with the world-worn looking lume. The dial is matte black with printed numerals, red 'Seamaster' text and a broad-arrow mark at the bottom of the dial, a nod to Bond's military origins. The 42mm watch comes equipped with a woven striped fabric strap in complementary tones. On the rear, rather than the clear caseback you might expect, you get another reference to the lore of Bond. The caseback is engraved much like a military issued Omega would have been, except with the last digits being '007', for the spy, and' 62' for the year Dr. No was released. Even without the Bond connection, this unusual take on the classic Seamaster is one of the coolest versions we've seen in a long time, and much like the spy himself — it doesn't miss.
