$ 6,295 Sold Out

  • Released in 2016, the latest generation of IWC’s mainstay pilot’s collection is the IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XVIII, and this limited edition, the ‘Tribute to Mark XI’ is a watch that offers all the visual appeal of the 1948 original combined with the convenience of a modern watch. The Mark XI, a pilot’s watch developed after WWII, was a highly accurate and legible timepiece based on British Ministry of Defence requirements. IWC’s Mark XI was issued to aviators in the RAF and Fleet Air Arm, as well as other air forces likes the Australian RAAF. This limited edition offers a dial that is a faithful homage to the Mark XI, with slightly off-white luminous details a traditional handset and the added utility of a date at three, all in a spartan 40mm steel case with sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and hard-wearing 20mm green textile strap. The tribute to Mark XI is powered by the 35111 calibre, offering 42 hours of power reserve.
