IWC Mark XV IW325307

  • The IWC Pilot’s Watch Mark XV isn’t just a superb and simple aviator’s watch. It’s an important step in a long lineage of famous fliegers, a journey that began with the legendary Mark XI in 1948. It was eventually followed by the Mark XII in 1993 and 1999 this watch — the Mark XV.
Stylistically this 38mm steel case is pure pilot, with a dial design that epitomises 90s-era IWC”s no-nonsense approach to watchmaking. In particular, this would be the last watch IWC made for some time that features a narrow handset and Arabic hour markers at the six and nine positions. This example dates from 2005, towards the end of the Mark XV’s production run, and thanks to the well-proportioned size, versatile steel case, robust calibre 37524 automatic and legible dial, this pilot is well set to fly safe for years to come.
