$ 1,100 Sold Out
Eterna is one of the many storied names in Swiss watchmaking that deserves more attention in modern times. Founded in 1856, the ebauche maker gradually gathered steam in the twentieth century, patenting the first alarm wristwatch and later making waves with the innovative ‘Eterna-matic’ automatic movement in 1948. Around that time they became a household name thanks to the Thor Heyerdahl’s Kon-Tiki expedition. This epic Pacific trip saw the crew wear watches from Eterna, which named a collection after the famous voyage.
