Cartier Tank Francaise
$ 3,773 Sold Out
Launched in 1996, the Tank Francaise, like the steel Santos from 1978 and the Panthère from 1983, was designed with an integrated bracelet. The combination of the bracelet and the watch is arguably one of the key reasons for the success of the line, as it made the watch incredibly easy to wear and it was widely available in steel and so appealed to a younger market. The present example in steel is from 2001. The watch has a 20mm steel case, octagonal crown set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel, silvered flinqué dial, blued-steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. The watch comes with its original set of box and papers and a two-year warranty from Watchfinder.
