Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26030IO.OO.D001IN.01

$ 34,940 Sold Out

  • Dating to 2004, this limited edition Royal Oak Offshore celebrates Colombian motorsports legend Juan Pablo Montoya. This particular limited edition — of 1000 pieces — is significant for several reasons. First of all, this was the first model to feature the bold, pusher style rectangular pushers instead of the more familiar round ones. In addition, the carbon fibre inlaid bezel amped up the automotive connection thanks to the traditional bezel screws being replaced by one that looks like race car lug nuts. On top of that, this titanium cased watch was the first Offshore to have an open caseback, displaying the calibre 2226 to the world. This movement, based on a Jaeger-LeCoultre ebauche offered 42 hours of autonomy. The white dial is finished in Audemars Piguet’s Grand Tapisserie pattern, and the subdials add in their own splash of colour with yellow, red and blue hands. This watch comes on a contrast-stitched black leather strap with a single fold Audemars Piguet buckle.
