In 1992, this became the very first black dial yellow gold Speedmaster and was the icon to celebrate 50 years of the famed caliber 321. For this special colour configuration, the only other Speedmaster that has such a dial is the 7-piece MIR 365 edition. Powering this is the COSC-certified calibre 864, which made this the first COSC-certified manual-wound Speedy.

The 1992 Speedmaster was the first yellow gold model to feature a black dial and was made in a limited series of 999 pieces.

GOLDEN AGE
This is the watch that Omega issued to celebrate the mighty calibre 321 which turned 50 in 1992. Therefore, on this occasion, Omega fitted this special watch with the COSC-certified calibre 864, which made this the first COSC-certified manual wound Speedy.

CHRONOMETER CERTIFIED
The caliber 864 is a chronometer-rated version of the 861, the second movement introduced in the moonwatches.
